I had a great stay here. The hotel is conveniently located near a train station. The surrounding area feels safe even in winter when the snow is cleared. There are lots of great local restaurants around and the hotel staff had great recommendations. The room felt new and cosy and the breakfast at the diner was excellent.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Check-in staff were friendly and provided us with some great restaurant recommendations. The hotel location was perfect, with easy access to supermarkets, a kaiten sushi restaurant and even a sake brewery nearby. The freshly renovated room felt cosy and perfect for our romantic getaway.

We had to wait over two hours for hot water in the shower on the second night of our stay. We also experienced some noise from the windows which would make a howling/whistling sound whenever the wind blew, but we managed to minimize the noise by jamming some toilet paper in the window gap.

Easy reach from JR station. Snow cleared. Excellent izakayas and nomiyas. Supermarkets and coin laundry nearby. Good sake brewery. Kaiten sushi across junction. Renovated and cosy room. Friendly and helpful staff.

New Year stay was great! Loved how easily accessible the hotel was from the station and all the amazing bars and restaurants nearby. the hotel staff gave excellent local recommendations for food and sake, and the breakfast diner right outside the hotel was a perfect addition. the streets were cleared of snow so it was easy to get around. Plus, there were three supermarkets and a coin laundry within walking distance.

The winter nights are peaceful, but be careful of the cold! the hotel had some infrastructure issues, like waiting over two hours for hot water on the second night.
